Fellow Warranty Information

We're confident in the quality of our products and have a dedicated team that ensures they're built to last. All of our products come with a warranty to guarantee they are free from manufacturing defects. For details on warranty length and how you can extend it, find your product below.

What time period does the Fellow warranty cover?

Our new generation of Fellow electric products carry a standard warranty of 2 years. (See table below for warranty periods by products.)

Electric products purchased and used in the United States are eligible for product registration. One of the perks of registering is a free additional year of coverage on our standard warranty, resulting in 2 years of coverage for most electric products, and 3 years of coverage for our new generation of electric products. You can register your product here.

Fellow’s non-electric products carry a 1 year limited warranty. Non-electric products are not eligible for product registration at this time.

What does the Fellow warranty cover?

Our warranty guarantees Fellow products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of time, as outlined above. You can file a warranty claim here. Please note, in order for a warranty claim to be accepted, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • You must be the original consumer.
  • You must have purchased the product through Fellow or Fellow authorized retailers.
  • You must have purchased and used the product in the United States, U.S. territories, or Canada.
  • You must provide the original sales receipt for proof of purchase.
  • You must have used the product only as intended and in accordance with the product’s care instructions.

Unfortunately, our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, improper care, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
  • Normal wear and tear. 
  • Operation with the wrong type of current or voltage.
  • Failure to follow all cleaning instructions.
  • Failure to comply with any safeguards listed in the instructions of the product or this warranty.
  • Products used or purchased outside of the United States (and its territories) and Canada.

Warranty

Stardrop Coffee provides a 1-year after-sales warranty for all eligible equipment priced at $1,000 or more.

  • Manufacturer’s (merchandiser’s) warranty always takes priority.

  • If the manufacturer does not provide after-sales coverage, Stardrop Coffee will cover the equipment under this policy for up to 1 year from the date of purchase.

Eligible equipment includes (but is not limited to):

  • Commercial espresso machines (2 groups or more)

  • Commercial grinders

  • Commercial coffee machines

  • Commercial coffee roasters

What’s Covered

  • Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period

  • Repair or replacement of defective parts

  • Service labor related to warranty-covered repairs

What’s Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic issues, scratches, dents

  • Misuse, accidents, liquid damage, pests, improper installation or storage

  • Consumables (beans, capsules, filters, syrups, cleaning tablets, gaskets)

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Shipping damage not reported within 5 days of delivery

  • Customer-requested training or preventive maintenance visits

Warranty Remedies

If a covered defect arises during the warranty period and manufacturer coverage is not available, Stardrop Coffee will, at its discretion:

  1. Repair the product, or

  2. Replace it with a comparable model, or

  3. Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not feasible

Replacements may be new or refurbished. Warranty coverage continues for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from repair/replacement—whichever is longer.

Limitations

  • Manufacturer warranty takes priority; Stardrop Coffee’s coverage applies only if manufacturer coverage does not exist.

  • This warranty applies only to equipment priced at $1,000 or more and purchased directly from Stardrop Coffee or an authorized reseller.

  • Customers may have additional legal rights depending on their state.
